This abstract assesses the seasonal trends in respiratory illnesses using South Carolina syndromic surveillance emergency department data. The use of syndromic surveillance emergency department data to track respiratory illnesses is useful for the early detection of illness clusters in a particular area and for the development of prevention strategies in preparation of increases in respiratory illnesses.Downloads
